Bahrami Children's Super-speciality Hospital was put into operation in 1337 (AH) and has been operating as the oldest specialized center in the field of treating children and training pediatrics and pediatric surgery. For more than 50 years, many young doctors of this country have been trained in this hospital and have joined the country's pediatricians. Currently, this center has 144 active beds, 13 inpatient and outpatient departments, 16 para-clinical departments; there are 18 specialized and sub-specialized clinics (such as clinic, emergency, internal medicine, blood and hematology, neonates, surgery, PICU, NICU, operating room, medical diagnosis and pathology laboratory, imaging, rehabilitation, thalassemia, dialysis, and clinical skills center).

This center is located in the east of Tehran and in district 7 of the municipality - access is possible through the Sablan metro and the BRT line of the airport station.

In recent years, this hospital has succeeded in obtaining valid internal certificates, including:

1. Obtaining first grade in four rounds of hospital accreditation.

2. Obtaining a child-friendly certificate in December 2021 with a validity of two years.

3. Obtaining a license for the activity of the health tourism unit (IPD) in 2021.

4. Confirmation of a one-year sentence in the educational accreditation of 2022.

5. Obtaining a re-certificate of haemovigilance in 2022.

6. Obtaining the golden rating of prescription writing and electronic prescription of Bahrami Hospital at the level of Tehran Medical Sciences Universities.

7. Selected statistical yearbook at the level of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

In 2021, the number of visitors to Bahrami Children's Hospital was 138,156. Out of this number, 4523 surgeries have been performed.

This hospital has 54 faculty members, 40 residents, 26 interns, and 30 medical students.
