Mammoplasty (Breast Reduction Surgery)

Mammoplasty is a breast reduction surgery that removes excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breast to achieve a proportionate breast size.

Treatment Method:

• The surgery is performed through incisions and liposuction to remove excess breast fat.
• An incision is made around the nipple, areola, and below each breast.
• Excess tissue, fat, and skin are removed to reduce the size of the breasts.
• The breast is reshaped, and the nipple and areola area are reconstructed.
• In very large breasts, the nipple may be removed and a new nipple may be added.
• The surgeon's goal is to ensure that the breasts are symmetrical, though size and shape may vary slightly. The areola may also become smaller.
• Incision scars fade over time but do not disappear completely.
