Microneedling

This method, which is also known as collagen induction therapy or CIT, is a type of mechanical stimulation method to repair structural damage that leads to the regeneration of damaged and changed tissue.

Treatment method: Using very fine needles, millions of microchannels are created in the epidermis and dermis. Inserting the needles into the skin increases the secretion of growth factors from fibroblasts and blood platelets and the secretion of alpha and beta growth factors. This process leads to increased production of collagen and elastin by fibroblasts. In this method, the penetration of the needle into the skin should be such that subtle intradermal bleeding occurs. The epidermis is punctured but not destroyed.
