Myocardial perfusion Scan, also known as nuclear heart scan; It is a nuclear imaging method that examines the quantity and quality of blood supply to the heart muscles in both states of stress and rest by intravenous injection of a safe radioactive substance.

Another applying of cardiac scan is to check the status of the residual viable tissue (tissue that can be saved with treatment measures) for patients with a history of heart attack or heart failure patients.

The medical centers of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, which are equipped with SPECT-CT devices, have the ability to provide their clients and their doctors with very accurate images and findings with high details.

Duration: Heart scan is performed on two consecutive days, on the first day the images of the stress phase are taken and on the next day the images of the rest phase are taken.
