Examination under anesthesia

Examination under anesthesia

When it is not possible to examine a patient for various reasons (e.g., infants and patients who cannot cooperate due to other issues), the examination is performed under anesthesia by a physician in the operating room. This examination is typically conducted for diseases such as retinoblastoma and for assessing glaucoma patients, including measuring intraocular pressure when examination in the clinic is not feasible. At Farabi Hospital, these examinations for international patients are performed by specialized professors, and the patient is usually discharged one hour after the examination.
