Oral and maxillofacial surgery is one of the specialties of dentistry. After graduating in dentistry, the assistants of this field undergo a specialized study course for five years. And after this course, they work as oral and maxillofacial surgeons. This department, which is one of the departments of Oral, Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, has 4 fellowship courses including reconstructive, trauma, oncology, pediatrics and craniofacial. The services provided in this department include trauma and injuries, pathology and benign and malignant lesions, developmental developmental problems (orthognathics), cleft palate and lip and congenital diseases, infections, reconstruction of the jaw and face area, beauty, dental surgeries. and implant, temporomandibular joint and advanced services based on superior technologies.
