Atrial Fibrillation of children (ASD)

Atrial septal defect is a congenital heart disease that occurs in 1-2 births per 1000 live births. This hole has different sizes and if it is of medium or large size and there is significant blood interference between the two atria, it needs treatment if the necessary conditions exist.

Treatment method

Drug treatment in cases of heart failure includes diuretics, if there is no evidence of heart failure, the drug is useless and the main treatment is angiography or surgery to close the inter-atrial hole.
