Pediatric interventricular septum (VSD)

Interventricular hole is a congenital heart disease caused by a defect in the complete formation of the wall between the 2 ventricles, which has different sizes and different surgeries.
Symptoms
Lack of proper breastfeeding, lack of proper weight gain, fatigue, shortness of breath and frequent infections
Treatment method
Treatment in cases of heart failure includes diuretics, but the basis of treatment is to close the interventricular hole with angiography or surgery if necessary and sufficient. In special cases where there is a possibility of spontaneous closure of the VSD, it is only monitored and repeated echoes are performed.

Diuretics can be used for a short time until surgery.
