Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)
In patients who experience volume loss in muscle and an increase in fat tissue due to weight loss or aging, arm sagging occurs.
Method: The surgeon creates an incision on the inside or back of the arm. The size of the incision depends on the extent of the procedure. The surgeon removes excess skin by cutting it and sometimes uses liposuction to remove extra fat. Finally, sutures are used to close and secure the skin. The arm is also covered with sterile gauze to reduce the risk of infection.
