Arm Liposuction

Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure where fat is removed from different parts of the body using suction. Common areas for liposuction include the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, neck, arms, and other body parts.

Method: Liposuction techniques depend on the specific technique used. The surgeon will choose the most appropriate technique based on your treatment goals, the targeted body area, and any past liposuction procedures.

Tumescent Liposuction: This is the most common form of liposuction. The surgeon injects a sterile solution—made of saline, an anesthetic (lidocaine), and a drug (epinephrine) to constrict blood vessels—into the treatment area. This causes swelling and firmness in the treated area. The surgeon then makes small incisions in your skin and inserts a thin tube called a cannula under your skin, which is connected to a vacuum that removes fat and fluids from your body. Fluid losses can be replaced through an intravenous (IV) line.
