Liposuction (Back, Abdomen, and Flanks)
Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery to remove fat from the back, abdomen, and flanks through suction.
Method:
The surgeon selects the appropriate technique based on your treatment goals and the areas to be treated.
The most common type is tumescent liposuction, where a sterile solution (saltwater mixed with a local anesthetic and a vasoconstrictor) is injected into the treatment area. This solution helps remove fat and numb the area.
The surgeon makes small incisions and uses a thin tube (cannula) connected to a vacuum to suction out the fat.
Fluids lost during the procedure may be replaced through an intravenous (IV) line.

Full Recovery Time: 2 to 3 days
