Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping surgery, is one of the most common plastic surgeries. Some individuals are dissatisfied with the size or appearance of their nose. Because the nose is centrally located on the face, it is the most important factor in facial balance. Many people choose rhinoplasty to create better harmony in their facial features. Besides aesthetic use, rhinoplasty is also performed to treat breathing problems and other disorders. Those who need surgery for medical reasons typically do so due to nasal airway blockage caused by fractures or congenital issues.

Method: After an initial consultation and necessary diagnostic procedures, the patient is admitted to the surgical ward and undergoes the procedure under the care of a plastic surgeon or ENT specialist. The primary goal of cosmetic nose surgery is to improve appearance. If the patient suffers from a deviated septum, the septum will be corrected either simultaneously with or before the cosmetic surgery. During rhinoplasty, issues like a wide nose, a deviated septum, or asymmetry can be addressed. While surgical techniques have greatly advanced, there are limitations to what can be achieved. The outcome depends on the size of the nose, the skin condition, and the patient's age.

2 days hospitalization in the surgical ward

Follow-up visit one week after surgery at the clinic
