Thigh Liposuction

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery where fat is removed from various parts of the body through suction. Areas commonly treated include the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, neck, arms, and other parts of the body.

Method: Liposuction techniques vary based on the specific technique used. The surgeon selects the most appropriate technique based on your treatment goals, the body area to be treated, and any previous liposuction procedures.

Tumescent Liposuction: The most common form of liposuction. The surgeon injects a sterile solution—made of saline, an anesthetic (lidocaine), and a drug (epinephrine) to constrict blood vessels—into the treatment area. This liquid causes swelling and firmness in the affected area. The surgeon then makes small incisions in your skin and inserts a thin tube called a cannula under the skin, which is connected to a vacuum that suctions out fat and fluids from your body. Your body fluids may be replenished through an intravenous (IV) line.
