Circumcision Revision

Circumcision Revision

In male infants, the glans penis is covered by skin known as the foreskin. Surgical removal of the foreskin is referred to as circumcision. When the foreskin is incompletely removed (less than the standard amount), it results in incomplete circumcision. In such cases, the foreskin may regrow over the penis, creating an uncircumcised appearance, rendering the surgery ineffective. The foreskin must be surgically removed symmetrically; otherwise, excess skin on one side of the penis may appear as redundant tissue, potentially causing curvature and penile deformity.

Symptoms: Unsightly appearance, accumulation of pus, and increased risk of infection

Treatment Method in the Hospital: Depending on the type of abnormality, different techniques are employed. The primary goal of these techniques is to maintain the appearance of the penis, ensure proper functioning of the urethra, and preserve the straight alignment of the penis.
