Baharloo Hospital is one of the oldest educational, research, and treatment centers of Tehran University of Medical Sciences with more than 80 years of age.

This educational, research and medical center currently provides educational, research, and therapeutic services with 330 licensed beds and 306 active beds with the benefit of the most advanced medical equipment and experienced medical staff, specialists, and faculty members on a full-time basis.

Following international quality management models, Baharloo Hospital has been able to rank first in the establishment of patient safety standards by the World Health Organization, the first high-ranked, and also ranked one in Iran's national accreditation standards in three consecutive periods of hospital accreditation evaluation, as well as the title of the child-friendly hospital by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
