Ophthalmology
The eye, as the most sensitive organ of the body, can be easily damaged. Most types of eye diseases have no early symptoms and are almost painless. Timely diagnosis of these diseases can play a crucial role in their effective treatment. Therefore, the best way to protect eye health is through regular visits to an ophthalmologist and by being aware of the various eye disorders and their symptoms.
Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear medicine is one of the diagnostic and treatment methods in medical science, in which amounts of radioactive material are used to diagnose, evaluate or treat various diseases, including cancer, heart diseases, bones, digestive system problems, endocrine disorders or Neurological and other abnormalities are used. Since this method can determine the molecular activity, it has the potential to detect the disease in its early stages. It can also show whether the patient has responded to treatment. The working procedure is that first, the radio-medicine for each organ is labeled with a radioactive substance and is injected into the patient and accumulates in the desired organ, then the desired organ is photographed using a gamma camera. Unlike radiological methods that generally provide information about the structure of body organs, nuclear medicine methods generally obtain information about the function of different body organs.
Dermatology
Skin is a soft external tissue that protects the internal organs from the surrounding environment by using a multi-layered system including different cell layers, cell barrier and protective oils. The skin has two inner and outer layers that prevent the entry of microbes. The skin constantly renews itself through the shedding of dead cells and the production of new cells. As a result, surface cells that are lost due to abrasion, injury or disease are quickly replaced. New cells are made in the epidermis, which is the upper layer of the skin and acts as a thick protective coating. Skin diseases are among the most common diseases in the world. Skin rashes, itchy skin, prominent bumps, peeling, blisters or sores, discoloration, etc. are some of the most common symptoms of skin disease. Moles and skin rumors that change color, size, shape must be checked by a dermatologist. Skin problems in the world are not related to skin diseases also, the skin undergoes aging like any other body organ, and this means the formation of wrinkles, skin spots, etc.
Oral and maxillofacial
Oral and maxillofacial surgery is one of the specialties of dentistry. After graduating in dentistry, the assistants of this field undergo a specialized study course for five years. And after this course, they work as oral and maxillofacial surgeons. This department, which is one of the departments of Oral, Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, has 4 fellowship courses including reconstructive, trauma, oncology, pediatrics and craniofacial. The services provided in this department include trauma and injuries, pathology and benign and malignant lesions, developmental developmental problems (orthognathics), cleft palate and lip and congenital diseases, infections, reconstruction of the jaw and face area, beauty, dental surgeries. and implant, temporomandibular joint and advanced services based on superior technologies.

After LASIK surgery, artificial tear drops are generally required for at least 3 months. For the first two weeks, betamethasone drops are typically used every 6 hours. Afterward, depending on the eye's response, the drops may be gradually reduced or replaced with fluorometholone. Diclofenac drops are typically discontinued on the first day after surgery.
